Hebden Bridge
As part of our improvement works at Hebden Bridge rail station, we have added over 40 additional car parking spaces, providing six new blue badge spaces, LED lighting and enhanced drainage.
With an investment of £30.5 million from the West Yorkshire- plus Transport Fund, the Rail Park & Ride Programme will increase parking spaces at 14 West Yorkshire rail stations, providing people with increased access to train services. In turn, this will help reduce congestion, improve local air quality and enhance people’s access to jobs, training and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as leisure activities.
Our West Yorkshire-plus Transport Fund investment will add up to 2,000 additional parking spaces at 14 stations across West Yorkshire. As well as providing additional park and ride spaces, the extended car parks will deliver more Blue Badge bays and will include LED lighting, CCTV coverage and enhanced drainage.
