The Mayor’s Big Climate Chat

Give us your views and help to create a cleaner, greener and healthier net zero carbon West Yorkshire.

The Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and our partner councils have an ambition plan to tackle the climate emergency and create a net zero carbon region by 2038 at the latest.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to transform our economy, create new skilled jobs, develop a sustainable public transport network and improve our health and our homes.

We’ve launched The Mayor’s Big Climate Chat to ask people and businesses in our region for their views

We want to know how climate change is affecting you, what things you have already changed and where we could offer more support and where you think we should be prioritising action.

Our survey is open until February 1 2024 and we’ll also be running a series of community events and speaking directly to young people.

Tell us how climate change is affecting you

Visit our Your Voice website for full details and to take part in our survey.

Find out more about what we’re already doing to lower emissions across our region.

We also offer support for businesses to help improve their efficiency, lower their bills and reduce waste.
