Meet Faye, Head of Commercial and Roy, Policy, Process and System Manager

Our Commercial Manager, Catherine Land says:

“WYCA is a place to create some great friendships, and people are valued as individuals and appreciated for the unique contribution they can make.

There is always lots of training taking place at the CA which you can get involved with to help with aspects of your work life, but also to help with personal things such as information sessions being held about how to make the most of your pension. Aspects of the training also focus on health and wellbeing topics such as anxiety and menopause, so that we are creating an understanding and inclusive culture.

Our office is located just over the road from Leeds rail station (30-second walk), so couldn’t be much more convenient to get to. It has also recently been refurbished, so has a clean bright atmosphere which creates an enjoyable workspace.

As part of being a Mayoral Combined Authority there is a sense of satisfaction derived from knowing that our work has a positive impact on the region and contributes towards the delivery of the Mayors pledges, such as generating Inclusive growth across the region to help better their lives and give them access to opportunities.”
