THINK! is the government’s designated road safety campaign. Their campaigns have evolved from encouraging the use of seat belts to tackling excessive speed, drink and drugs, and the use of mobiles at the wheel.

Pol-Ed
Pol-Ed is a West Yorkshire Police education programme, written by teachers for teachers in schools across West Yorkshire. Its purpose is to keep children safe by developing their understanding of risks, consequences and the law and to develop their resilience and ability to help and support each other.

The Older Drivers Forum
They have created a number of videos about the Forum and our recommendations and advice to older drivers. They also have videos with practical and informative advice on a number of subjects that Older Drivers can have difficulty with when driving on the road.

A national road safety charity offering comprehensive support. There is a dedicated West Yorkshire advocacy service, a helpline, and a downloadable guide.

SCARD
A West Yorkshire charity, offering support and care after road death and injury. It has an online memorial page, and holds a service of remembrance at Leeds Minster every year in November.

Naomi Cheri Gough Foundation
A West Yorkshire charity helping parents & guardians of a child whose life has been taken on the roads of West Yorkshire due to a road traffic incident.

DayOne
A charity offering help to anyone in West Yorkshire affected by major physical trauma.

Victim Support
A national charity offering support to victims of crime and traumatic events. It has local victim assessment and referral centre and helpline based in West Yorkshire.
