  1. City Regional Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) and Levelling Up Fund

    The £830 million City Regional Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) is aimed at providing an integrated and inclusive transport network and was made possible thanks to the West Yorkshire Mayoral devolution deal. In 2023, the Combined Authority was Awarded £41.3 million from the Government's Levelling Up fund which will further build on the CRSTS programme.

  2. Transforming Cities Fund

    Providing an accessible, attractive and cleaner alternative to car journeys is at the heart of the Leeds City Region Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) - a major new programme of transport infrastructure investment secured as part of the West Yorkshire devolution deal.

  3. Leeds Public Transport Investment Programme (LPTIP)

    Leeds Public Transport Investment Programme (LPTIP) is a multi-year programme delivered in partnership with Leeds City Council and public travel providers that aims to dramatically improve public transport and active travel across the Leeds.

  4. Local Transport Plan and Other DFT Funding

    The different authorities in the Leeds City Region are working together to ensure that West Yorkshire’s transport system connects people and places in ways that support the economy, the environment and quality of life.

  5. West Yorkshire-plus Transport Fund

    The Fund is targeted at enabling key development areas and will help to create about 20,000 new jobs over the next 10 years. A number of strategic transport projects will be delivered to facilitate growth identified in the SEP.
