Rail Park and Ride Programme

We’re working to improve air quality, reduced congestion and boost inclusive growth by investing £31.5 million into the first phase of our Rail Park and Ride programme across West Yorkshire.

In total, our West Yorkshire-plus Transport Fund investment will add a potential extra 1700 parking spaces to the 15 sites across the county;  alongside improved car park surfacing, lighting and CCTV coverage.

By making it easier for people in local communities to access urban areas, we are improving access to jobs, training and leisure opportunities.
