Priority 4A Housing and Regeneration

There are exciting schemes and projects across the Leeds City Region as a result of funding secured through the Leeds City Region Growth Deal, agreed between the government and the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) in July 2014.

They are expected to create thousands of permanent jobs as well as temporary construction opportunities. They will also unlock more than £100m of private investment, provide new local housing, and bring currently derelict sites back into use.

Overall, Growth Deal for housing and regeneration is set to create around 3,500 construction and permanent jobs, 1,400 new homes and 40,000 sq m of new commercial office space – the equivalent of seven Wembley football pitches.
