Morley Transport Hub

Morley Transport Hub

Morley Transport Hub is designed to improve links between bus services, improve pedestrian access to and from bus services and to address pedestrian safety issues.

A Transport Hub is described as ‘a gateway to the core bus and rail network in West Yorkshire’. Hubs include improvements to transport facilities, information and infrastructure and make it easier to move between one type of travel to another.

In Morley, this scheme has improved signage between the town centre and railway station and installed a new LED clock and travel information panels.

This scheme has also re-allocated bus stops, provided new bus shelters with real-time information, improved crossing points for pedestrians and changed the existing flow of traffic to ease congestion and improve safety for pedestrians.
