Are you a confident communications professional with a strong track record of success in developing engaging content for a broad range of audiences?

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who can creatively communicate the work we do to regional, national and international audiences including local residents, businesses within and outside the region, central government, young people and global investors.

The successful candidate will be expected to devise, deliver and evaluate integrated communications campaigns which raise the profile of the region, the Combined Authority and Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP), and our work to benefit local communities.

They will also play an important role in delivering key strategic priorities through effective communications and public relations activity that advocates the region’s interests and promotes the services we offer to businesses, partners and the public.

This is a varied role which will suit an ambitious, results-focused individual looking to build an exciting career in a fast-paced government environment.

Key requirements:

  • Proficient at managing multiple projects and working flexibly and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary communications and marketing team
  • Impeccable written communications skills with the ability to develop compelling, outcome-driven content across digital and traditional media
  • Significant experience of devising and executing multi-channel communications and marketing plans to achieve business goals
  • Capable of working flexibly and collaboratively
  • Experience of working successfully in a partnership environment
  • Ability and confidence to advise senior figures both within and outside the organisation
