Based in Leeds City Centre, with some co-location across Leeds City Region

An exciting opportunity to work directly with senior business leaders and education partners to develop employer commitment in education; securing better outcomes for young people in our region.

We are looking to recruit a Lead Enterprise Coordinator (Social Mobility) for a 12 month maternity cover, to support the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership’s growing programme of “Enterprise in Education” which aims to better connect businesses and education in order to improve attainment and employability, raise awareness of career opportunities and address skills gaps and shortages.

The role will lead our work in making access to careers and enterprise opportunities inclusive and will develop the offer in areas of social disadvantage across the City Region.  You will work closely with senior business and education leaders, and manage a team of coordinators

The successful candidates will have detailed knowledge and experience of enterprise in education and/or skills landscape and funding.   

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who are keen to make a difference for young people that live, learn and play in our region.  This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a growing team in a high-profile and demanding environment - often working to tight deadlines, and requiring flexible working.

This role will require the individual to hold a full driving license and insurance to drive for work, the successful candidate will be subject to a full enhanced DBS. We would welcome applicants interested in a secondment opportunity.
