Governance and transparency

West Yorkshire Combined Authority is committed to upholding the highest standards of governance and conducting its activities with the principles of openness and transparency.

Our work is led by Combined Authority. The Combined Authority is made up of democratically elected councillors from our West Yorkshire partner councils of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield, plus York and the Chair of the LEP.

The LEP Board brings together business and council leaders to ensure that we deliver services and investment across the full City Region and supports businesses to grow.

To facilitate transparency, the Combined Authority and its committees all take decisions at meetings held in public, all of which you can attend and you can see the papers online. In addition, you can watch the meetings of the Combined Authority online via our webcasting service. You can also take a look at the reports and minutes from all our committee meetings.
