WYCA has a very comprehensive learning and development policy in place, which outlines the company’s policy and plans for the future. As a new starter, you’ll receive a thorough induction. Any essential training will be given priority and you’ll undertake this almost immediately. Development Reviews are held with your line manager every six months. During this meeting, you’ll discuss your work and related future development, identifying any training or development you require to be effective and feel confident.
As well as general training courses and seminars, you can also apply to undertake further education courses at college or university, which WYCA may fund. If you are a member of a professional body relevant to your position, then we will also pay for your annual subscription fees.
